Largest letting in 2020 – 1,900 sqm leased in “Dessauer Hof Centrum”

In December 2020, a long-term lease (more than ten years) for 1,900 m² of office/practice space was concluded in the prestigious city property "Dessauer Hof Centrum", Kavalierstrasse 37-39 in Dessau-Roßlau. The tenant is a company from the healthcare sector. This is the largest office/practice deal in Dessau-Roßlau in 2020. The landlord of the property with a total of 5,000 m² of leasable space is the family office of the owner family of FOM Real Estate from Heidelberg. Lease commencement is in spring 2021. With this deal, full occupancy of the property has been achieved.

"In addition to the availability of a contiguous space of this size, the decisive factors for the leasing decision were the tenant-specific conversion of the premises by the landlord and, in particular, the top city location with excellent transport and public transport connections," explains Madlen Gebhardt of Aengevelt Leipzig, who brokered the lease.

"We are very pleased to welcome another renowned major tenant to our property and thus to reach full occupancy. Other tenants include Commerzbank and the marketing company of the city of Dessau. Walter is convinced of Dessau-Roßlau as a location.

Another property under the asset management of FOM Real Estate and owned by the family office in the Mildensee industrial park is used by the state of Saxony-Anhalt for the highway police, BG Bau and German customs, among others.
