FOM becomes FOM Real Estate GmbH
In June of 2006, FOM, i.e. “Future Office Management GmbH”
changed its name to “FOM Real Estate GmbH” and the logo used
until now was replaced by a new one.
The
name change reflects the further evolution of FOM’s business
field. The company started nearly ten years ago as a classic
project developer that, for its own account, built innovative
office properties such as Microsoft’s main office in
Munich-Unterschleißheim or the PartnerPort for SAP partner
companies in Walldorf. Hence the name “Future Office
Management”.
The range of FOM’s activities then expanded in recent years as
other projects were successfully completed. The transition
from a real-estate developer with its own property holdings to
a leading real-estate service provider for commercial
properties in Germany was competed with great success.
FOM has proven itself in the areas of buying and selling,
asset management, project development and execution and it is
also a key player in the market for sale & lease back projects
for renowned major tenants. Outstanding examples of this are
the main office of T-Online in Darmstadt and the Telekom
Center in Munich, the “Ten Towers”. The tenants were already
able to move into their new premises in 2004.
Today, the core competences of FOM also lie in the structuring
of real-estate transactions and in their well-founded
implementation before the background of an entrepreneurial and
innovative approach. On this basis, FOM managed projects of a
volume of about 500 million euros in 2005. |
